Moonlight wins Best Picture at Oscars after shocking La La Land mix-up

I've seen most of the Oscar nominated movies except for Moonlight so I'll withhold judgement until I get a chance to do so. That said, the craze for La La Land and Manchester by the Sea really has me confused. Both were ok in their own right, but the praise they've been getting simply does not come even close to my personal viewing experience.

My favorite movies by far would have to be either Hidden Figures, Lion, and Hell or High Water (no particular order). I found them to be way more enjoyable.

BiVRiP I hear the same thing from a good friend of mine about La La Land. He doesn`t understand why it`s so loved. I have yet to see it though.

I had myself a pre-Oscars Mercury missions session with The Right Stuff and Hidden Figures. It was a good time.

My biggest disappointment of the Oscars is Zootopia winning best animated feature. It was okay, but it was just another kind of forgettable kids mostly comedy animation. I was blown away by Kubo and The Two Strings and so pissed it didn`t win. Reminded me of the year Brave somehow beat out Wreck It Ralph.
