I went to 3 of their ATMs and none of them have deposit envelopes anymore. Finally I notice this new special check slot. But it never opens. Then on all menus, there is no option at all to deposit at all. I'm guessing maybe they want you to use their dumb mobile app or somehow I was missing something. I hate those jerks.
I think its more likely they dont want to deal with deposits to whatever bank you have and just purposely removed the routing numbers.
Thats not uncommon for banks to not allow deposits to certain banks because they "don't compile with their standards".
Generally speaking, if you have a credit union as your bank, NO major bank brand will take your deposits. The one nice thing about this, however, is in order to be a Federal Credit Union, under the law, you MUST accept deposits and withdrawls from every other federal credit union.
I'm not sure where you were at or what you were doing, but just to toss it out there, in case you didn't know, the bank over by Alberstons right off of Alton is a federal credit union, if that helps.
