NASA Scientist discover flowing water on Mars
Posted by: m0rb0 on September 28th, 2015 @ 11:13AM

The Guardian

Pretty cool. I mean I think we all suspected it, but now we know. In another 20 years, will be uber-rich be living on Mars?

no, they won't.

1 technology takes forever, we still don't have our flying cars.

2 society doesn't have the stomach for that type of stuff anymore.

you think republicans will fund nasa and their ability to do this? maybe if the rocket had a gun or 6 strapped the side and was named obummer.

do you think liberals would let us send a monkey to mars and back to see what happens? do you think twitter warriors could handle it if an astronaut died in space nowadays?

think private companies can get it done? with all the red tape and investigations when their rockets fail in testing stages? maybe one day, but not in 20 years

didn't 1 company have a rocket explode while testing an earth orbit type of trip a year or 2 ago? have they been able to launch since? and thats just a relatively few short miles straight up for an afternoon. no way there's a multiple month trip journey to live on another planet for someone with bill gates money
