I find that Selfie picture really disturbing.

Ah yes, a picture with no context, time to interpret it in a way to confirm our own biases and world view.

OMG It's Tuesday Already/Disneyland
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on September 23rd, 2016 @ 11:44AM

Dland raising prices

9/6/2016

Friday I went to Disneyland. It was the worst. There were so many people that doing anything was impossible. There's just like a total GLOB (I call it) of people from the entrance to all areas with almost no room to walk. The people are waiting for the parade/fire works. Every ride was like I swear 1-2 hours wait.

They put up their halloween shit on SEPTEMBER 1st.

On top of that, so many things are closed. The train is closed for 1+ year. Haunted Mansion is closed. I think even Matterhorn was closed. Now that they closed their game division I don't have to worry about pissing them off and wanting a job someday haha. It's just sickening how low down they are about trying to milk more money out of people.

They got rid of their add their parking pass to the annual pass option. You can only renew it if you already have it. So they want you to pay $18 a visit for parking. It used to be like $12 or $100 for the year. Such mf-ers.

As I said before, they jacked the price of a turkey leg from $7 to $13.

They jacked the price of the annual passes over 5-10 years from $1000 to $2000! The cost of a cruise.

The pokemon/ingress play is AWESOME there and the only motivation I have for going. The kids are so sick of the place and don't ever want to go. Me and the mom drag them there. Me for the games, her because she loves the place for some odd reason. I never even see her having fun there.

I just want to be done with them and never go back to Disneyland again. I'm paying $150+ a month for passes.

The cruises are awesome though.

I never understood the attraction of large theme parks. While some of the activities might be fun, the extreme costs and the hordes of people make these places a nightmare.

Yeah my last amusement park I had free passes too....went there for an hour or two and decided I never wanted to visit an amusement park again. If I want that kind of experience I can wait in a line in a horde of people at an airport for free and pay less for refreshments too.

I have had annual passes for Disneyland for 15 or so years of the last 20. They have always been premium passes with free parking. When they jacked it up last time, I decided NOPE. Now that they are over a $1000 for no black-out dates. I have changed from NOPE, to NEVER.

It is a bit ridiculous to even go. I would rather use that for something else really. I used to go 3 days out of the week on average, if they were busy, I would walk around and people watch. If they weren't, I would ride. My kids were okay with that too.

So if I had to pay $3k for my family (my oldest can buy her own now), plus parking each time I went, and pay more for food, FORGET IT!!! I made a lot of good memories over the years there, I still have them.

And, if you are paying that much for a luxury item, you really can't complain about not having money any more. I'm just sayin' :-)

What I don't understand about celebs (or anyone for that matter) is that they are so outward facing with social media and the like. Especially when people come back with insult or comments about what you do, or how you live your life. That is the risk you take.

In my humble opinion, no one should be near 100% available to others, maybe to your own family, but to complete strangers... NO!

I really enjoy having a computer in my pocket (even if it can turn into a flaming ball of death), but I hate the fact that I can be available 24 hours a day and usually I am expected to be (be it work or family). Maybe because I have been on call almost 24/7 for the last 27 or so years of my life, but I really miss being fully disconnected.

NEW DNC LEAK
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on September 14th, 2016 @ 10:46AM

This is fucking nuts. Total evidence of paying to get positions in the government.

Link

Summary

Several major things revealed thus far 1) Many HIGH value donors ($500,000 or more) received spots as ambassadors or in the Cabinet of the White house or whichever state they wanted after their donation was received.

2) The DNC and OFA(Obama's Organizing group) colluded with New Media, an internet research group, and the White House. This is very alarming and ACORN was bankrupted for doing much less.

3) Organizational impetus for CTR started around 2008-2009 based off of research done by New Media and similar groups

4) Whoever had these files decided to encrypt nothing and there are SSNs, Phone numbers, birth dates, addresses, full names, and credit card numbers all over the place. If I recall correctly improperly storing this information is now illegal.

5) And the kicker - The documents suggest that Tim Kaine was selected in 2009. This is sure to anger the Bernie Bros.

Price Menu from the Clinton Foundation:
Ambassadorships
UK - $10,000,000
Singapore - $5,000,000
Spain - $2,000,000 [Super Saver Special]
Japan - $2,000,000
Bahamas - $1,000,000
UN - $500,000 [Must be SJW]
Switzerland - $500,000
Belgium - $250,000
New Zealand - $200,000
Libya - $0

But then again, we're willing to overlook Trump's bullying. So I guess that's worse than murder, corruption, sociopath behavior according to liberals who still plan to vote for Hillary. They either don't care or don't believe the media.

The only reason to vote Trump, IMO is Clinton. If Trump does something awful(and he probably will), it will be reported on and investigated by the media. If Hillary does something awful(and again she probably will) it either be ignored or celebrated by the media.

I just watched that CC Roast of Rob Lowe the other day. I don't know what the hell Carolla is talking about. He says no one would have made fun of the physical appearance of someone on the liberal side. Has he never seen a roast with Lisa Lampanelli? Most of the jokes that involve her involve her appearance. If Coulter seems unfairly targeted, its because she brought it upon herself.

I never once saw her laugh at one of the jokes made about her, even the tame ones. Every time the camera panned to her you saw the same stony-faced grinning visage. Not one genuine laugh. You'd think she was at the dentist or something.

Then, the one place where she could have won the crowd over and stolen the show, where she could have shown a softer self-deprecating side, she royally fubars. The majority of her "jokes" were painfully cringe-worthy. She either relied on political humor - taking jabs at Obama, Hillary and democrats in general - championing Trump, or promoting her own book. None of which was relevant to what was going on around her.

You have to wonder what was going through her mind when she chose to participate in that event. The cynic in me tells me its to gather material for her next book.

I personally think the highlight of the show was Jewel. She was hands down the Martha Stewart of the night.

"One key difference between the cases: Saucier, 22 years old when he snapped the photos, admitted he knew he was not supposed to have taken them. Clinton, meanwhile, has insisted she did not knowingly send or receive classified information."

And that right there ladies and gentlemen is the lesson of the day. If you're ever charged with a crime, admit nothing and when pressed use tried and true phrases such as "I don't recall" or "I have no recollection" or "I mis-remembered". Technicalities FTW!
