There was this hoarder family (that isn't us) two houses down. They clean up the house, move out. Then this section 8 housing lady moves in. She's Muslim and a single mom with one kid. The kids pretty nice but she doesn't watch him at all. He wanders out into the street. Anyway., she gets this awesome fixed up 2 story house in IRVINE. Which would be like $3000+ a month. That house is better than mine and no one is helping me pay for it. Instead the government pays half her rent. Then her ex-husband is rich. So the rules are that she can only live there by herself with her kid. So Peg Bundy is like already plotting to expose the lady as she moved in. And she was right. Nearly instantly some guy was living there with her as far as we can tell. Then idea is you have to gather evidence to expose her, which the person renting it out said to do watch for. haha. What's the % of people who abuse gov services and options? It's probably 98%. Fucking California too on top of that.
How much better would we all be off if everyone wasn't abusing gov free handouts.
Whenever I see this stuff or read about such events, I reverse the situation and imagine how everyone would react. Imagine, in this case, that it was white people assaulting a old black man for voting for Hillary. Imagine the rightful outrage. One of the problems is that much of the left acts on emotion. For one reason or another, they do not exercise rational thought much of the time and therefore they lash out emotionally. This isn`t exclusive to the left of course but, in my experience, it does appear to be more common. And when the emotion is rage, the results can be ugly.
Paper bags use way more resources than plastic bags. I always took my unused plastic bags I didn`t use as garbage bags to recycle as they`re 100% recycleable. I will be moving out of California now that the plastic bag ban is in effect.
If you can`t, here are some solutions:
1) Buy as much as you can online, including food. Infowars (which this blog linked to) even sells food in these big cases you can then carry groceries in. There`s lots of food you can only get online and for a lot cheaper like red rice is expensive and hard to find normally but I got some for about $50 for 25 pounds with shipping after searching long enough.
Personally I think this will drive most people to shop online. And don`t get stuff from a local store chain`s website as they`re the ones who pushed the tax on bags. I personally hate most stores because they blare bad music constantly. Target and Costco are exceptions. Wal-mart used to keep its bad music off but they started blaring it in 2015. Bad music blaring while I shop makes me miserable.
Oh but Costco and Sam`s Club use boxes instead of bags so they are fine to shop at. The only problem is those places close insanely early at night.
2) Never buy these 10 cent bags. You can buy a bunch of garbage bags for 1 cent per bag and carry groceries in. If the clerks won`t bag those, then take the groceries to your car and then put them in plastic bags there. It is best not to buy the bags from stores since the Grocery Manufacturer`s Association in California is the one behind it.
ivehadnoduisforthreeweeks, You`re moving out of state because of a plastic bag ban? Well, not even a ban really, a small extra surcharge on them if you want them. Not to mention you`re paying for those bags already anyway in the cost of your groceries, this is just meant to be a visible cost to incentivize people towards a less wasteful option (whether or not it`s truly less wasteful is debatable). OH THE HORROR! FLEE THE STATE!
I find that kind of hilariously mind boggling. You know I had been considering moving to a different province because my trash collection changed days, it`s a pretty serious issue. But then I realized that would be a stupid thing to do over something so small.
It`s just so fucking stupid. And I even think the ban is basically useless and probably a detriment overall, but moving out of state? Holy sweet shit you are overly dramatic.
I just buy all my food online now. It actually saves me a ton of time compared to having to go through a grocery store.
One time consumer in addition to hunting all over the store to find where products are and then waiting in line is now you have to wash the cloth bags.
I also really advice against putting the cloth bags in your cart. If a store has no cart wipes, the carts never are cleaned. If the store does, then a few times a day the handle only is cleaned. Most of the dirty hippies including Noss, killer6600, nate_orenstam who hated on me and said shopping bag charges and non-functional washing machines are wonderful will never clean their bags. And they`ll just plop them right in the cart. So if you put them in the cart, you have to clean them way more often. The more you have to clean them, the more time you spend.
And then you have to buy garbage bags separately instead of re-using shopping bags. The people who like the bag charge were the ones who weren`t recycling shopping bags and throwing them away.
And then you see all the rich leftists who think the shopping bag tax is wonderful simply buy the thicker 10 cent plastic bags (didn`t ban plastic just made them thicker) and then they throw those away and they take longer to break down. These Communists don`t even realize that large store chains have the same prices nationwide so the bag charge they collect isn`t going to drop their prices.
If not, I hope it keeps on flooding and flooding this state till they do!
Lake Oroville that was about to dry up is now flooding.
Governor Jerry Brown could`ve fixed the dam year ago but no gotta spend the money on welfare for illegal aliens.
Just keeps raining away here. I got tactical pants $29 off Amazon and they're super awesome in the rain. Someone gave me some hiking/rainboots too but they say they're the right size but it's like wearing flippers. hard to walk. haha. I also got this awesome WOW alliance umbrella. I'm ready for the rain.
Southern California has the most batshit crazy weather. Wed or Thurs of last week it was so cold I had my heavy jacket, gloves, ski cap, hood over the ski cap and I wanted to put on my snow mask. Freezing as f in the middle of the day.
NEXT it was insanely windy to the point where it sounded like a 4x4 was doing laps outside my bedroom.
Then only 3 days later it was suddenly so hot, it was shorts and suntan lotion time and burning hot.
It does...until you go just about anywhere else in the world and experience actual weather.
It's 2017 and I see TONS of those guys with short hair but big bushy beards. That style doesn't seem to die. A lot of them would look so much better if they ditched their stupid beards.
Nonsense! Well maybe it`s not nonsense. I get your point but I am biased. I`ve been wanting to grow a beard since I was a kid. I can`t say why but I always did. Now I work from home full time so I don`t have to worry about looking professional for the office. And it`s pretty much fashionable now so the wife and family don`t really care either (my Mom actually likes it.) So I tried to grow one a couple of years back and found out that I have decent genetics for it. I like how I look with it. And I think, for many guys, it does improve his look. I`m not talking about the hipster look either. I`m talking about looking like man, not playing at it with skinny jeans, tight fitting flaneIs, etc. It goes beyond your age and certainly isn`t tied to the hipster lifestyle. In fact I`ve see tons of bearded old guys where I live (which is not even an hour out of NYC and it`s not hicksville) and I like the look. Some look rugged, some distinguished, etc. It`s certainly not for everyone but personally I hope the style never goes away completely. In a world where masculinity is so often demonized, there`s something I like about growing a good thick beard as only a man can do.
as ive probably said before cali is a key invasion point for the end days ezekiel 38 invasion of america the land of unwalled villages as its called.....instead of armed citizens as a bulwark you have trendys in flip flops afraid of guns and idolizing trannys. it will be a total wipeout of cali
They put one in Irvine and people lined up around the block. They're all insane about this place and I'm wondering why. Their donuts taste like crap. The local donut place has better tasting donuts. One person said their coffee is really good. I don't get it at all. They're still going crazy tho. One guy has a shirt. They had to change their parking lot all around so that people can fit/drive correctly.
I like the dunkachino and their Vanilla Swirl hot latte but they're both super sweet and more of a "treat" than something you would want every day.
Give me my Starbucks and day of the week. At least the women that go to Starbucks are usually hot. 90% of the swamp donkeys I see go to Dunkin.
Yesterday I got to go to Travis Air Force Base. It was super cool. The Airforce Motels are the best lodging ever. Giant huge rooms with like 4-5 rooms, full kitchens, living rooms etc. That's the 2nd time now I've stayed at a base. I started to collect coins from the bases (if I go to more). I'm missing March AFB.
The drive of course was the worst as usual. Leaving at 4pm for a 6 and 1/2 hour trip. We got there at like 12 a.m. when it shoulda been like 2pm. They hung around the base until 4:30 pm. Then the drive began.
I was born at Travis AFB!
Maybe the little lady can start packing about half a day earlier before a big trip? It is the right time of year for a New Year's resolution...
