is the worst day of my life. I lost one subscriber. I can't even plead with them, hey don't give up. I'll try better! How can I go on.

I'm sure Expect Nothing comes in at #101.

The A-10 is so effective at advancing many of the United States' military needs. It is also reasonably priced, easy to operate, and hard to kill. You never find all those things in the same package.

(Well OK, you do with drones. Let's make A-10 drones.)

Walking Dead

That episode was dumb. Nothing really happened, including that death that was supposed to be the point. Who cares. I could see they wanted us to care, but I didn't.

How are we supposed to believe there's a magical place covered in snow when it's 83 degrees and air conditioning. Fake news.

Zelda one to me yesterday and I’m finding it insightful: http://gdcvault.com/play/1024562/Change-and-Constant-Breaking-Conventions

The art, engineering, and design leads talk about Breath of the Wild – specifically how to create a sandbox that lends itself naturally to problem-solving using the tools available in your environment (everything from “chop down a tree to cross a river, because wood floats and trees can be chopped down” to “use balloons and a raft with bombs on it to float a bomb raft into an enemy camp, using the wind leaf, then shoot the bombs with an arrow shot through a fire to explode them”).

The lessons about creating multiplicative design are useful for anyone making endgame sandboxes that wants to get the most out of their content – TLDR: create simple mechanisms that can be used in a variety of contexts.

I also dodged sniper fire going into Bosnia.

The Last Highlander

Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat, was the last of the great Scottish chiefs – and the last nobleman executed for treason. Determined to seek his fortune with the exiled Jacobite king in France, Fraser acted as a spy for both the Stuarts and the Hanoverians; claimed to be both Protestant and Roman Catholic.

That guy is supposed to be my 8th great uncle. I come from his brother Alexander Frazier 1660–1683.

I always like how almost everyone seems to have some kind of royalty in their family history yet none of that ever seems to make it all the way down the line. What a rip off! Where's my riches and gold crown?

Yeah, they moved to America and ended up with nothing. I was reading one comment like why would they leave the royalty of Scottland. haha. They moved to PA of all places too.

Metal Detecting: I found a crack pipe / Marijuana Container
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on March 14th, 2017 @ 12:22AM

I thought you could find broken crack pipes on every street corner in Cali. Just kidding.... that is only the poor neighborhoods, right?

No that's in the 1-2 million dollar houses area. haha.

The last house we rented I found a glass crack pipe above the built in entertainment center. I was actually fixing it for the owner because it was sagging just a bit, and looking at it a tad bit crooked was driving me nuts. As I was pushing the edge into place the pipe fell out into my hands.

This wasn't a low rent place either, the house was a 2800 Sq. Foot 4 Bed house that in CA goes for about 900k.

Anyway, that is my story and I am sticking to it. :-)
