Obama Arranging Tehran Visit for Next Year
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on December 4th, 2013 @ 9:29AM

Weekly Standard

""The source said that the desire to visit is shared, and that Tehran and Washington are waiting for the conclusion of the arrangements prior to Iranian President Hassan Rohani issuing an official invitation to his American counterpart to visit Tehran."

This is the worst president in the last 100 years. People always think Nixon was the worst president but he helped get us out of Vietnam. What he did was spy on everyone and get caught? Guess what Obama does? SPY ON EVERYONE. On top of that, he's done the whole health care thing, used the IRS as a tool against his political enemies (100+ white house visits by IRS leader). He didn't get us out of Afghanistan like he promised. He has raised health care for everyone, screwed over doctors and patients. He's actually LOST health care for millions of people. He has many other scandals way worse than Clinton ever had. Clinton was 100x better than Obama and that's really sad. They were saying he has way more death threats than anyone previously. Is it sad that the first 1/2 black president has also been the worst? He certainly didn't do anything for advancing black people. You could also mention the deaths at the "bengazi" (spelling) or the worst of all, cowering down to IRAN who has FUCKING STATE SUPPORTED TERROR. Bush was dumb and set us back many years, but this dude has set us back even worse. National Debt? What really gets me is with all this going on, there's still these dumbfucks that support this guy. How dumb are they? They're saying this guy is setting Democrats back so bad they're going to take forever to recover.

I think the reason everyone is bitter all the time (including myself) is because we're ALL being shit on no matter who is in office. It only gets worse. It's coming from the left and the right and everyone wants to play the blame game. Washington is the corrupt evil heart of our nation and it needs cut out.

This is why I don't even follow American politics any more, life just sucks when you focus on the worst parts. I'll just stick my head in the sand and wait for it all to collapse and know that I've done my best to prepare for the worst.

Whoever mentioned that the deficit shrinking as a good sign needs to wake up. The Fed has been pumping 80+ billion dollars a month in imaginary assets into our economy for years now. If our deficit is shrinking without us actually taking ANY substantial actions whatsoever to address the deficit do you really think Obama deserves some sort of credit for this? Is the fact that it is shrinking despite this even a good sign?

Willful ignorance turns me into a giant asshole on internet forums, I can't help it. I can't imagine seeing through the eyes of some people, believing what they believe. Once you know things, you can't forget them.

    Space/Nasa
    Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on August 30th, 2010 @ 4:48PM

My chick's brother-in-law has worked in the space industry for like 12+ years? Anyway turns out the business is dead. They shut down the space shuttle program and they said that a TON of programs have been shut down without it showing up in the press. So they're sitting around with nothing to do or looking for other jobs.

What's funny is people keep talking about being an astronaut as the classic example of what you can be and finally it's not someone you can actually be anymore.

I think space is good for technology innovations but otherwise kinda unless since I don't think we'll ever be moving to other planets or finding other life. But it's sure a lot better to spend our money on that instead of rebuilding IRAQ or all the other scams the gov uses our money on.

If you`re looking for another wife out in space you may be disappointed. However, I think this is a big mistake by Obama. Maybe not in the next 20 years, but in the next 100 space IS going to be necessary for our future and the more we put it off the longer it`ll take to get where we need to be. Not only that, but what if another country gets ahead of us? By the time we catch up the Chinese may dominate the rest of the solar system.

Just think about the resources we can find on other planets. Find a dead world with all the mineral deposits we`d need, and you can mine to your heats content and not even worry about the environmental impact on that planet. Eventually we`re going to be overcrowded on this planet and resources will eventually run out. Where can we expect to find more if not space? Even if there is no life anywhere else, we`d need to expand or die. I think Hawking said it best in a relatively recent interview.

House sends health care overhaul bill to Obama

On the surface it seems like a good idea. The poor people who can't afford health insurance or people whose jobs don't support it get some help. But there's TONS of problems you (some of you) idiots don't even think or care about.

  • The Drug Companies are major pushers of this crap. Democrats are usually anti-corporation so they shoulda thought about that. Imagine everyone in line for their 1-5 drugs is major profit for health care.
  • This is a bad time to do all this. People are out of work, unless this somehow generates jobs. Maybe now everyone works handing out drugs? haha.
  • One of the biggest motivators for trying to better yourself and get a better job is for BETTER BENEFITS. Now aholes can work at Taco Bell and get benefits.
  • When people get access to free shit, they start abusing. Look at Welfare already. People sneak into the country then start getting it. Imagine the same abuses with health care. When shit is free, people start going all of the time, that's why your HMO charges you $10 per visit, to sorta make you not want to do that. OMG my finger hurts, let's go to the hospital! That results in longer lines for everyone and more $$ spent.
  • To pass this the people that voted yes got bribed. They got all kinds of UNRELATED CRAP put in the bill that wastes our money to buy their vote. What kinda dirty shit is that.
  • Nationalized Health Care works in some other countries but this is America that manages to fuck up all programs like that such as Education, Medicare, Social Security, and more.
  • "The insurance industry, which spent millions on advertising trying to block the bill, would come under new federal regulation."
  • To pay for the changes, the legislation includes more than $400 billion in higher taxes over a decade and cuts more than $500 billion from planned payments to hospitals, nursing homes, hospices and other providers that treat Medicare patients.

For the first time, most Americans would be required to purchase insurance, and face penalties if they refused. Much of the money in the bill would be devoted to subsidies to help families at incomes of up to $88,000 a year pay their premiums. So if you make over 88k, you're f-ed. Come try to live in California, it's $36,000 a year just for rent for a house.

  • [New Taxes for Health Care Help Obama Spread the Wealth Around]

Most of the revenue would come from higher Medicare taxes on about 1 million individuals earning more than $200,000 and about 4 million couples filing jointly who make more than $250,000.

  • [64% Say Congress Is Doing A Poor Job]
  • [Senate Fight Starts: GOP Says Senate Parliamentarian Will Kill Fix-Its Bill] - If Republicans can get the parliamentarian to agree with them even once, whatever ultimately passes the Senate will have to go back to the House. And Democrats in the House quietly admit that its very likely they will have to vote again on the reconciliation fixes at some point down the road.

  • [Schlafly: Health Care Vote Set to Expose the Myth of the 'Pro-Life Democrat']
  • [Abortion compromise doesn't satisfy critics] - It's one thing for people to kill their babies but for us to have to pay to kill their babies is bs.
  • [Florida says several states to file healthcare lawsuit] - yay

I think fining people $700 for not having insurance is completely obscene! I can understand the reasoning behind the car insurance, you have to have it in case you hurt SOMEONE ELSE, but I can do whatever the heck I want w/ my own health! Whether I want it to be insured or not should be my choice and not my government`s.

They also completely hose you if you're not married. What kinda nazi f-ers force marriage over single people. If they're going to shove all this being gay is ok in our faces, how about also saying being SINGLE is ok.

Try living in California, Every house is 350-400k+. A great house is 500k+ It sounds like you make a lot but it all goes to damn rent. They should at least modify it based on where you live.

They totally punish success. I get nothing for student loan interest, or even child credit. I know their goal is to give as much $$ to the least f-ing successful people in life. That makes a lot of sense, if you're f-ing commies.

Let's help people out that need it but let's stop rewarding people who do jack shit in life but have babies.
