Slave wages
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on February 13th, 2017 @ 2:12PM

Worked about 2 hours for $2.64. hahaha

You can tell how that place works. You can see people are like reposting their own jobs/work for other people to do for slave wages. Write a whole bio on some sex item for $1.90. haha.

I'd like to find a way to earn money on the side to buy a few more metal detector things. I need a $100 coil for the new detector (still in mail).

If you see how it works, find something that you can have some poor sap work on and you take in the profit! The hard part is coming up with the idea that will pay dividends assuming you have slave labor!

Amazon: Won $25, Won $5, and Won these Fab headphones!
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on February 10th, 2017 @ 1:01AM

2/8 - Today I won Some chalkboards? I can fill them full of cuss words.

2/8 - haha I won this chick novel. They think I'm gay. They gave me that thing, and rainbow headphones.

2/1 - My rainbow headphones arrived. And it didn't take 2-3 weeks like they said. The first comment "those sure are super gay." hahahaha. But they are amazing. The bass on them is incredible. They can be used on phones/tablets. But I'm using them on my computer. They sound way better than any of my other headphones.

Also, every day they have to see NEBU won for the week $25. SO FUNNY.

1/30 - I WON AGAIN!!! $25!. I'm up like $105 in 1 month. For a whole week they have to see that NEBU won.

For 1 month now I've entered uh 100s of these giveways. I finally won one with a 1 in 400 odds. I'm using this Chrome pluggin: here. You just have to mute the videos they make you watch AND make another twitter just for spamming. haha.

and

Link. $99.

1/18 - Ranking: 113,525 - Helpful Votes: 116. Ranked up again!

I've made reviews over the last 19 years but I haven't really tried. I decided to try to see if I can move up in the rankings. I worked all week and got from 950k down to 510k. I hope to continue to rise in the ranks to earn prizes or who knows. I wish I would have been doing it this whole time.

I also want to work on my writing/reviewing. I checked out some of the movie reviews but I think those guys are like 1000x better than I ever will be on those.

If you want to follow me and my reviews it's https://www.amazon.com/gp/profile/AFU0E4Y2ZIDL4?preview=true. I also keep updating my wishlist as I build up my survival kit and search for things to build it up. Right now I'm just short of the very important thing, food and portable food. haha.

I have to say that my faith is shaken in the Amazon review system. I was always conceptually aware that some reviewers received free or reduced price products. However, I wasn't aware of how pervasive the practice had become. I mean, if sellers are courting a rank 250k reviewer this aggressively, imagine how hard they go after top-500 reviewers. Those folks must have garages filled with free product.

BlueFalcon
- 2016-12-30 08:48:17

They've taken a lot of steps since October to purge the whole system. I'm sad because I shoulda spent the last 20 years in on the dirty reviews haha. I woulda got tons of free things. People got PAID too. 650 people got their reviews deleted and banned from doing them I think.

You thought Amazon Prime was insane with its 1 or 2 day shipping. Amazon Prime Now (FUCKING NOW) shows up in 1-2 hours. If you want in one hour it's $8. Nuts. The code PRIMENOWIT gives you $10 off a $20 Minimum order + tax + tip. They put a default $5 tip but you can edit it down to 0 if you want. The code might not work, but it seems like a generic code. It expires Midnight on 12/31.

Before you give them NO tip, read this where they say they don't pay gas, repairs, insurance, or anything. That sucks.

I bought pepper spray and batteries. hah

Amazon Prime: The Man in the high castle
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on December 28th, 2016 @ 1:12PM

I asked on facebook about any good Amazon Prime shows. Please post here if you have any recommendations.

The Man In the High Castle

What if the Nazis and Japanese won World War II? I'm a huge World War II buff. I've read books, read online articles, watched tons of movies. There were so many places in WWII where it felt like we could have lost.

This show explores the possibility of a world where the Nazis won. The show is based on a book.

I made it through both seasons in only a few days. I really enjoy the show and hope for more episodes.

=The Nazis were at the forefront of technology. They had all sorts of amazing creations in WWII. If left to explore them, what would they have come up with?
=The US grabbed the Nazi scientists (except those who died?) and used them for rockets, space, jets, and more. But what if they stayed and developed things for the Nazi.
=How would Japan/Nazi get along if they won the war. It was interesting to see that in this show, with Japan at a disadvantage and bowing down to the Nazis with better technology.
=If America fell would there be anyone else ?
=What would America be like after losing that war?
=After WWII we saw Japan shift into being high tech and a much cooler people. Would that still happen if they won?
=What technology that America developed in 1945-1962 wouldn't we see?
=What racial atrocities would the Nazi continue if allowed. If they killed off everyone that they wanted to kill off, who would be left?
=The Japanese atrocities were forgiven by the US and never really punished. What would they do, if they continued after 1945.
=Who would get the atomic bomb first and use it?

Cons =It's got me angry at the Japanese/Germans again. hah
=Don't go trying to collect memorabilia for the show!

SPOILERS in the comments

"The Japanese atrocities were forgiven by the US and never really punished."

2 bombs = punishment (or were you talking about the show?)

The Man in the High Castle was very interesting. When we won WWII, we gave the countries back to the people. We could have occupied Japan and Germany, but we didn't. We have bases there and a treaty, but we didn't take over. I do believe that Hitler would have occupied the USA if he had won, that's what dictators do. My husband is a real history buff so he was also fascinated by this show. The intro song is eerie.

It's sort of a sci-fi too with the alternate realities.

Ah - good history lesson. They killed up to 14 million, our bombs took out less than 300k. More died over the next 20 years due to exposure/radiation sickness. However, if we were taking the "eye for an eye" approach, then we'd be no better than they were.

Amazon APP
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on November 29th, 2016 @ 2:23PM

I totally recommend the Amazon app when you have multiple orders. It's actually better than the website. For Black Friday I bought everything on the Amazon App and never even got my computer out this year. It shows you what orders you have open and their current status.

I also tried Sears pick up at the store option. You dload their app then drive to special parking spots. You then load up the app and say I'm there and what your car looks like. In only 1 minute someone ran out there with my purchase. Pretty cool! Now ideally you'd want to just get it delivered to your home but if that's not possible, that was a pretty cool way to get it.

=Amazon added tons of free albums to your Amazon prime. Go in there to Amazon music, and you'll find there's TONS of good / free stuff. You can play it, download it, or use a player on your phone to play it. It's great. I found lots of stuff I like. So that really helps add value to Amazon Prime (been a member 2-3 years).

Recommended Product: Wireless Bluetooth Headphones
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on April 30th, 2015 @ 2:14PM

I've been using these now, M-F and sometimes weekends for 1 year and 4 months now. They're super awesome and people ask about them every so often.

I use them for chores. I put my phone in my pocket or leave it somewhere and it connects to the phone and plays music.

They also can act as your phone. It kinda bites sometimes and the noise is hard if you're on a bike but if you're just walking around they work fine. I have to completely stop on my bike to talk to people. But otherwise it's fine.

You can control your music on the sides too adjusting volume or skipping tracts. It can call someone back or answer phones too.

They last a LONG time. 8 hours maybe? The only downside is they have a weird charging cable. Sometimes I have to drag that along with me and use it at work. The things have only ran out of batteries/charge on me about 4 times now. Usually it's when I forgot to charge it overnight. It lasts all lunch, before work, after work, hours of chores.

Link here

$39. Totally recommended.

Just ordered the Blue set to give as a gift. Not as nice as the black, but they were only $40.
