My Car: Screw in Tire
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on January 24th, 2004 @ 5:01PM
-Update - I got the tire fixed. They charged $18. Whatever. I just care that it's fixed. I HOPE anyway. I'm going to be buying new tires anyway when I got $$$.
-Screw in Tire - It's hard to see because of the focus but it's the big round thing. It was driven straight in and it was grinding down. It made a clicking sound when I drove too! No idea how long it was in there.
-"Fixed" Tire - Looks kinda screwy!
-Original Post Someone at work alerted me to a HUGE screw in my right tire. It's driven in so the top is like sticking out and it's grinding down. I heard it clicking when I drove. I spent 1 hour looking for the damn tire store in Irvine and it was at RUSH hour so it took like 3 rotations of a light or 4 to even get through each light. Then it was 6 and the place was closed. So I got to get that fixed asap :( I need new wheels and tires but I really don't have the money now. Maybe after 1 more paycheck. It would be like $1500+
Who knows how long the screw has been there. I'd bet today but who knows. I put like another 20 miles on it since I discovered it. haha.COMMENTS (18) | CARS | DIGG
