Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat, was the last of the great Scottish chiefs – and the last nobleman executed for treason. Determined to seek his fortune with the exiled Jacobite king in France, Fraser acted as a spy for both the Stuarts and the Hanoverians; claimed to be both Protestant and Roman Catholic.
That guy is supposed to be my 8th great uncle. I come from his brother Alexander Frazier 1660–1683.

|I always like how almost everyone seems to have some kind of royalty in their family history yet none of that ever seems to make it all the way down the line. What a rip off! Where's my riches and gold crown?|

|Yeah, they moved to America and ended up with nothing. I was reading one comment like why would they leave the royalty of Scottland. haha. They moved to PA of all places too.|
