"Worth"
Posted by: Nebuchadnezzar on September 8th, 2016 @ 11:43AM

As the years go on, people come up with more lame things to say. First it's Salty. Now it's "Worth." they don't even say "It's Worth It", "That's Worth It", "Totally Worth It",... They just say "Worth." It sounds like you're some caveman and are too lazy to complete your sentence.

FTards

This is just another passing fad, joining the ranks of "totally", "that's hot", "radical", "bling", etc.

"Totally" is a passing fad? That's news to me. I never stopped using it.

I think people by nature mirror those around them. Humans are designed that way intentionally and in some ways, it's a healthy function. For example, learning to walk is based on mirroring. How these phrases start is one thing, but why it spreads and why other people latch on is something else entirely.

I've said it a couple times recently and I don't consider myself lazy, but perhaps I'm a bit of a FTard caveman. I picked it up watching Pro SC2 tourneys and somebody would sacrifice a unit for a more important unit and the announcer/player would say "worth".

Fad words and expressions are important. They make it easier for you to know which people you should be ignoring.
