I just watched this Documentary on sugar last night called "Fed Up"
Pretty much says that sugar is a poison/drug and should be greatly limited but big companies push it in our faces and get us addicted much like how Tobacco was 20-30 years ago.
The World Health Origination says we should limit consumption to 25 grams of sugar a day . To put that in perspective a 12oz can of coke has 39 grams of sugar.

25 grams of sugar isn't hard to avoid when you look at what they mean by that
they mean added and processed sugars.
you can get plenty of fun sugar from straight fruit
sugar is way worse than tobacco imo

I saw that docu Briggs and it was pretty good. I'd highly recommend this TED talk "Sugar -- the elephant in the kitchen" by Robert Lustig (~ 22 mins)
For a more in-depth look, check out "Sugar: The Bitter Truth" by Robert Lustig (~ 90 mins)
In short, a calorie is not just a calorie (ie. not all calories are equal). Sugar has become a very pernicious component of the western diet. I bet most people don't know that there are over 250+ different names for sugar. Odds are if you can't pronounce it or it looks out of place, it's likely some form of sugar.

Sugar is bad because people eat fuckloads of it. But of course that simple message of moderation is too much for the `need something to blame` in people so now sugar is becoming a scapegoat for fat or unhealthy people, like saturated fat or cholesterol before it.
Yes limit sugar, limit calories, limit salt, limit saturated and trans fats. There are things that you shouldn`t scarf down like a goddamn whale. But quit being a bunch of panicky tards comparing it to tobacco or literal poison. And stop getting your dietary and health information from documentaries with an agenda (all documentaries).

Thanks for the links BiVRip. i checked out the Ted talk and it said all of the same stuff just at a much less interesting format. Still, it was good to hear it from another source.
After watching those my diet is changing for sure.
