Why are people so OCD about telling you that your shoes are untied? People never say shit, but if your shoe is untied, it's the end of the world. I was walking out in the parking lot and someone was desperately trying to tell me my shoe was untied. What is going to happen, iff they don't save me, am I going to die?
I walk around with my shoes untied all the time and it drives people crazy. They can't stand it. I guess that's why it's so much fun. I never trip on them. Other idiots sometimes step on them though which wouldn't be a problem if they weren't up in my business.
HEY HEY YOUR SHOE IS UN-TIED!

| Agreed with the united shoes guy... Was right there with ya!
Meanwhile... why bash on someone that is just trying to help you? Some people aren`t very solid in their feet and can become seriously injured in tripping on their own shoe laces. This whole post makes me want to be that guy who comes up and says hey man did no one ever teach you how to tie your shoes?
Everyone is so busy these days--not because they are busy but more so because they are so caught up in their own nonsense that doesn`t even matter; ie facebook--to care about anything or anyone else. The fact that these people take out of their time to try and help another with a simple warning, deserves a thank you, not ridicule.... Way to instigate one of the fastest growing problems in this world. |

| I guess I'm just not a sadist. I genuinely don't like seeing people trip and fall, so if I can prevent it by making sure a person is aware of an easily correctable, almost never intentional condition that is "untied shoes", then by golly I'll say "Hey, you're shoe's untied." |

| Man, what's with all the hate being thrown around? The only bad thing I've had happen from walking around with untied shoes is my shoe laces get jacked up.
Do people actually trip when their shoes are untied?! I've never personally seen that happen. |

| Same reason people flash their lights at you when there is a cop nearby. They don`t want to see you take a fall and hurt yourself when you don`t have to.
Maybe you should consider getting velcro shoes and keeping it unvelcro`d, that way you can still have your loose shoe and not attract a lot of attention.
Of course, then you wouldn`t be able to be a d-bag. |

| I don't care if someone has their laces untied. But they OUGHT to care because it jacks up their laces. More than a day of walking on most laces will require you to spend a few bucks and get new ones.

| I will tell people if their shoes are untied only if it is long enough to get caught under the other shoe. That is how you trip and that can be a nasty fall. So, not being an OCD A-hole, just looking out for you. I think it got worse when I had kids though as I had seen a kid take a nasty fall from running with untied shoes. |

| It's because we grow up associating untied shoes to tripping, falling, hurting ourselves. So now it is implanted into all the sheep to ensure the safety of everyone around them and notify them of any untied shoes. Bah |

| Or maybe it is just common courtesy, a trait that shouldn't be ostrasized from our society.
Most functional people don't go walking around with their shoes untied and thus would be happy to know their laces came undone. I've tracked down several people over the years driving around with a nearly flat tire they were unaware of. I guess I'm just some kind of "sheep". |
