IN RESPONSE TO: Hillary 4 Prison 2016 - DRAIN THE SWAMP

I don't think anyone thinks Trump is a real conservative.

I do think at very least he's going to drain SOME of the swamp. Considering he's an outsider I'll give him the benefit of the doubt in selecting who he thinks is clean or not. Priebus is NOT Debbie Wasserman Schultz or Donna Brazile.

IN RESPONSE TO: Fucking California Hippies

I'm sure Trumps new Supreme Court will eventually overturn the ammunition and magazine laws.

The bags though....haha...that's what you get for living in a hippie state.

IN RESPONSE TO: The Fuck Yous

Haha listening to Juan Williams and Megyn Kelly last night on Foxnews was priceless.

Megyn was backtracking all over the place trying to play down her opposition to trump and Juan was just....being Juan. I understand them keeping around Liberals to be "Fair and Balanced"...but couldn't they have chosen an intellectual at least?

Which KKK backed candidate are we talking about here?

I agree with Bivrip in that its more of a vote AGAINST the establishment than anything else. The thing I love most about Trump is that the REPUBLICANS hate him on their ticket. That gives me endless pleasure thinking about it and the implications.

NO ONE is sleeping soundly in Washington right now and I hope that continues for the next 8 years.

    IN RESPONSE TO: Go Trump!

I end up voting Trump myself (and dragged the wife along with me as well) after swearing I wouldn't as well. The last straw for me was the fucking text messages telling me to go vote for Hillary. That crossed the line for me and now that I think about it the bullshit Google feed telling me to vote Hillary was additional incentive. I would have quietly sat this one out, even though I preferred a Trump presidency to Hillary. The more I thought about it though I realized this wasn't just an election about a douche versus a turd as it was about deciding the future of this country.

I can't support Trump on so much.....he is a populist and I'm a conservative and while many people don't yet understand the significance of that I have a feeling in the months and years to come they will. Trump is the most liberal Republican to hold office ever and if his acceptance speech last night is any indication of how he'll run his presidency I have a feeling that Democrats may find themselves agreeing with him more than they would have believed otherwise.

That said, he's the president and just as I did with Obama, I'll give him the benefit of a doubt and a chance until he gives me reason not to.

I have more water and canned goods stocked in my pantry than that RRP...and that's just my normal supply haha. You wouldn't last a month on that supply.

You're going to need that water just to keep all the sodium in that spam and canned goods from dehydrating you :P~

IN RESPONSE TO: Trump's Election Will Be The Biggest F You Ever Recorded In Human History - Michael Moore

I was thinking about exactly that last night, and I doubt it has made Moore all that much money and it probably pissed him off and used him to counter his own message which makes it all worth it IMO.

The shortened context of that video likely has a far more meaningful message than whatever Moore had to say.

Yeah too many people are turning a blind eye to their own "Side" while railing on those who support the opposing side. If people can't admit that there is something seriously wrong with BOTH candidates then they are probably not seeing things clearly.

Out of ALL of the elections in my life that I've taken part of (Since Bush/Gore) this is the ONLY election where the actual ISSUES have been on the back burner to the character flaws and hit pieces of the candidates. I honestly don't know any of the specifics on what either candidate would do if elected president and I watched all 3 debates. We are really a Jerry Springer fucking Tabloid country at this point so its no wonder our media is feeding us what we want.

IN RESPONSE TO: Tuesday Random News

I got a new PixelXL and it's easily the best phone I've had by a long shot (upgrading from a Nexus6P). The camera on this thing is amazing, and even though it is running the same OS version as my Nexus6P there are small enhancements and changes to it that make it all the better. At $825 with tax it was pricey as hell but there has never been a better time to make the jump from an Iphone if you're sick of the Apple ecosystem.

No one thinks trump is a good choice for president...just a hell of a lot better than Hillary....which is fucking pathetic since he is so bad.

IN RESPONSE TO: Vote for Trump 2016

I'm with you on all of that BF but personally I don't think my vote will be the decider and I have to take a stand somewhere on this shitty fucking candidates our system keeps feeding us.

The media choose who gets the air time and who becomes relevant and ultimately who becomes president. A Trump Victory could hopefully shake that up a bit. I totally feel you on the SCOTUS though. Out of all of the conspiracy theories out there, the ones saying Scalia was assassinated resonate the most with me. No other person in government was worth more than that dude was to me, and I can't think of a conservative I respected more in any way. He really needs replaced with someone in the same league as him, and if there is anything Trump has a successful track record of, it is picking the right people for the right job.

IN RESPONSE TO: Vote for Trump 2016

Sorry I don't have a horse in this race so "my candidate" is as invalid of a statement as your belief that Hillary is going to win in some sort of landslide. You seriously must live in some sort of disconnected bubble or you lap up everything CNN feeds you which I guess is the same thing. Try making some observations on your own sometime and open your eyes and look around.

I drive through a veritable forest of Trump signs in Ohio everywhere I go which tells me at very least Trump isn't as unpopular as you've been lead to believe. Hillary may win, but it definitely wont be by this landslide you seem to predict unless someone pull something like the bush DUI 2 days before the election and it's a game changer.

There is a distinct possibility that the major media is holding onto more information like they did with the last video....waiting for Trump to secure a lead (he's gaining again) before releasing it. But who really knows.

I agree with you on the motivation Nate (rare that we agree on anything).

I think Trump wants the attention and the singular thing he is good at is LEADING. So I hope he pretty much just lets Pence rule from behind the scenes while making himself a celebrity figurehead and adding a few more billion dollars to the value of the "Trump" name (Which is probably most important to him).

IN RESPONSE TO: Vote for Trump 2016

Good to see an actual expectnothing discussion again.

One of the best posts I've read on here by Bloodclot.

Forest Queen, that article makes some good points but they are weak in my opinion. You don't create a flawed system because the right system can be difficult (In the even of a recount). The whole idea that small states become ignored isn't a big deal at all. STATES do not vote...people do. Large numbers of people SHOULD be the focus of a democratic election. Right now the opposite is true. The highest population states in the country are almost completely ignored which is in essence ignoring a large percentage of the population. I hate living in Ohio because it's just nonstop focus during Presidential years (I'm pretty certain Trump is going to win Ohio).

Meorah...has this guy ever said anything that wasn't Liberal bleeding heart bullshit? Are you even a man? Practically every guy I've known myself included has engaged in this kind of talk in the presence of other men while observing attractive females. It's no indicative of anything...most certainly not that he is a bloody sociopath. lol. You're probably one of those people who thinks they have PTSD because they had a troubled youth or experience as a child.

Good point on the Abortion Bivrip. I thought Trump made a mistake in taking that strong stance instead of weakly toeing the line like most Republicans. I agree with his stance but I think it cost him votes.

I'll say again my own stance on the election: I'm done with it and I refuse to play the "Lesser of Evils" game that this shitty two-party system produce for us. I hope Trump wins because I prefer him over Clinton but both are equally TERRIBLE candidates and anyone that actually thinks either of those two people will make a good president is a biased hack with no good sense. I hope Trump proves me wrong which is possible but I feel strongly that Hillary will rule under corruption that makes the Nixon administration look benign by comparison.

Is it going to be depressing? I've had to quit so many shows because they only mechanic they can use to keep people watching is to just depress the fuck out of you the whole season then at some point have things turn around to make you feel better.

I love how rape attacks are how we decide who wins and loses elected office. Who is the bigger rapist? haha....fucking pathetic.

It was that bullshit they pulled to destroy my boy Herman Cain back in the day that put the nail in the coffin of politics for me.

Not even a 4 second 0-60 time. I guess it is "Kind of" fast....when it comes to Civics.

I hate these cars. Every one of them I see on the road has to rev their fart pipe at me when they see me and try to line up and race me. It's an annoying car that attracts annoying drivers IMO.

You can get a GT Mustang for the same price that will blow its doors off if I'm not mistaken.
