^ It`s definitely not as bad as critics are making it out to be. I enjoyed it.

I don`t understand what the issue is with removing the shooter`s phone from the network and installing the new OS on the phone in a secure location. Nothing has to be done OTA, and they can limit installation of the software on the shooter`s phone. They could probably even configure OS so it immediately deletes the contents of the phone unless its specifically on the shooter`s phone.

Witcher 3 was amazing. It wasn`t as "open-ended" as fallout 4, but it was way more enjoyable, IMO.

Btw, you should hop on over to the Lindt Cafe in Australia, or go to Paris and visit the Charlie Hebdo magazine office, or the nearest kosher deli, and tell them you don`t recognize ISIS to be a threat.

There may be "more likely" ways to die, but if you seriously remain unconvinced that ISIS poses some threat to the US, then you`re a fucking idiot. It may not be, in your opinion, threat to warrant immediate military action (and not in my opinion either), but they`re a threat nonetheless.

As someone that`s actually gone to war, I`d much rather take the fight to them. With every gain they achieve in the Middle East, it will make them that much more attractive to homegrown followers, attract followers worldwide, and make them that much more difficult to deal with. But hey, you`re probably right, there has got to be a better way to deal with this. Why don`t you try tweeting them messages of peace and ask them politely, but firmly, to stop?

Right, because diplomacy is going to work so well with these folks. I`m convinced that you won`t recognize ISIS as a threat until they`re literally at the gates.

If/when something catastrophic happens, I`d love to hear your rationalization of the event. I`m guessing it`ll go something along the lines of "3000 people may have died, but many more die every year due to obesity!" Or even if ISIS convinces one homegrown follower to kill one citizen in every state per month, I`m sure you`ll find a way to minimize that and just chalk it up to acceptable loss.

I wonder if people are still unconvinced that ISIS poses a threat to the US.

It really is some Beta male, passive-aggressive bullshit. If you`re that hard up, go get laid irl. There`s pornstars that are hotter than some of these actresses, so I`m not sure what the big deal is.

"it essentially demonstrated (again) that even though this system is in place, the White House will use it for THEIR INTEREST and not the welfare of the country. "

How is addressing and bringing up immigration reform not for the welfare of the country, but deporting a musician who is really just a punk kid for the welfare of the country? That makes no sense.

IN RESPONSE TO: TSA Is Awesome Thread

The only reason this is "outrageous" is because of the belief that kids are incapable of wantonly doing bad things, but do you really want to hinge the potential safety of airlines, etc. on such an exclusionary policy? Should kids be exempt from obeying laws, strictly because they are kids, and it`s outrageous to think that they could do bad things?

If it wasn`t a little white girl, but a college-aged middle eastern man, who, after going through security, ran to an elderly woman who triggered the metal detector and hugged them, then refused to be searched again, made a scene, and then ran away, there`s no doubt that`s very suspicious behavior.

Or, like you stated, people noticed that TSA agents do not search children again, even after they leave the searching area, then its possible that someone takes advantage of that.

Under your line of thinking, you would have TSA agents carve out an exception in their searching policy for, at the very least, young white girls. The only reason you`d carve out that exception is "Aw shucks, she`s just a kid."

I`d rather have laws that respond to the conduct of the actor than the age, gender, and race of the actor, thanks. While the TSA agents could have been more discrete about it, that doesn`t change the fact that they have a duty to perform that`s applicable to everyone.

killer6600, i stated that i understand there`s a difference. it was literally the first line.

i`m not talking about the substantive matter of what had occurred. I merely stated that kids are capable of doing bad things, and supported that assertion with a personal experience. The child is not absolutely guaranteed from performing a bad act, just by virtue of being a kid. Being a kid, by itself, is not a guarantee. The attendant circumstances may indicate that the child is not dangerous, as it was here, but being a kid alone is not a guarantee.

Thanks. Please learn to understand what I am asserting before trying to refute it.

I realize there`s a fundamental difference in a white kid from the US versus an Iraqi kid, but. . .
When I was deployed, we used to keep all military-aged males away from our convoy while we were driving through towns. We`d let kids stand closer, and we`d throw candy and stuff at them.

That all changed when a kid threw a grenade on the back of one of our vehicles. The armor and hull protected everyone inside, although the vehicle was rocked, but yeah. Nobody`s incapable of doing bad stuff just by virtue of age.

An alternative to sprinting or running is doing kettlebell workouts.

Kettlebells are awkwardly shaped weights that consist of a handle attached to the `body` of the weight. In recent studies, scientists found that doing a kettlebell workout for an hour burns twice as much calories as running at a 10mph/pace.

A kettlebell workout combines the high-intensity interval training (HIIT) of sprints, with the extended exercise of cardio, and the muscle building benefits of weight lifting.

One of the best informative websites I`ve found was EXRX.Net. It lists a bunch of exercises, how to perform them with correct form (which is something the majority of people lack), and sample workout routines. It also discusses the different benefits to different types of workouts (HITT v. Cardio v. Weightlifting), as well as dietary advice.

As far as your Diet Dr.Pepper question, I`m not sure what artificial sweeter is used. However, there have been studies that show that some artificial sweeteners have been linked (although not conclusively shown) to a risk of developing metabolic syndrome. Dangers of Artificial Sweeteners in diet drinks.
There are arguments both ways, so if you`re at some risk drinking Diet Dr. Pepper, but I think the correct mentality is it may either be bad for you, or it may not have any effect. One thing that is known for sure is that it is not good for you.
