You might be 40 years old, but there are times you act like a 14 year old. Let the tears flow? Ok, I guess being upset that conservatism lost warrants derisive mockery. Trump vs Clinton. Yay!

Been coming to this site for over a decade, but I think I've seen enough. Can barely see through the tears streaming down my face. Well, bye.

The state police vehicle you see had rear-ended the car in front of him. The dash cam is from another police officer who was called by the lady who was hit because she knew the state trooper was under the influence. Does this clear it up ?

More feel-good legislation from the left that doesn't actually do a damn thing to help. But the left never asks what does good. They just want to feel good.

And screw that whole checks and balances thing, right? Just ram it through with executive fiat.

    IN RESPONSE TO: New Computer

Sorry if you mentioned it before, but what are you doing as far as graphics cards are concerned?

Edit: You have a GTX 690.

Something like this would work perfectly fine: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182133

With a high quality PSU, you don't need more than 650W.

Seasonic, XFX, and Corsair have quality products. Seasonic has 5 year warranties so you pay a slight premium with that.

Case - That will be fine...its a personal preference really.

CPU - Intel i5-4690 (non-k means no overclocking)

Motherboard - In the combo you have listed, it gives a non-overclocking CPU, with a mobo chipset that is really for overclocking. Since your cpu is not for overclocking, you can look for an 'H' variant motherboard and save some cash.
    In short, H97 -> No overclocking. Z97 -> Overclocking.

RAM - What you have listed is good.

Disk Storage -> SSD for OS and other commonly used programs...HDD for storage. I think a 256gb Crucial MX100 SSD will be worth the money.

I would also recommend getting a basic aftermarket CPU cooler....Coolermaster 212 Plus or Evo are good values...The stock cpu cooler sucks....noisy and does a bad job.

PSU -> What you have listed is overkill. You can get a really good PSU for half that price.

What will you be doing with this PC?

BTW, you live near a microcenter and they have amazing deals on CPU/motherboard combos.

IN RESPONSE TO: Dell 630i Overheating Problem

NB most likely stands for NorthBridge, which is not the CPU fan. I don't know that motherboard, but my guess is the NorthBridge chipset sits under where that small black fan is. If you see where that fan should be plugged in (called a fan header), I bet it is labeled NB.

    Your NorthBridge chipset is overheating.

    IN RESPONSE TO: Printer Recommendation?

I work help desk with about 40 new HP multifunction color printers and they suck. Sluggish, unreliable, slow to print. HP acknowleges problems but says it will take some months to fix the firmware.

Hammer is right, the older HP printers were nice. The newer ones...no so much. Would never buy an HP printer or recommend one.

I don't have much experience with Brother printers, but I hear alot of good things about that company.
