IN RESPONSE TO: Saturday Random News

The last time I was hiking above just 12,000 feet I started feeling woozy. Those people are crazy (but in a good way of sorts).

Apparently it's "progressive" to drive business into the ground and make taxes and prices so high that you can barely scrape by. Some progress we have here.

Be sure to review Hillary's new book! And rate it 5 stars or else the review won't count.

IN RESPONSE TO: F-ing Auto Play Videos on News Sites

And often times the auto-play video isn't even related to the article you are reading. It's just garbage that probably only appeals to the mindless drones that just stare and watch any video that they come across.

I'd imagine most people in the public eye are hypocrites. They just want PC Brownie Points by telling other people how to live their lives while they go about doing whatever they want.

IN RESPONSE TO: Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones used to be a show where even a major character can die at any moment. The last couple of seasons all of the major characters have tons of plot armor and are constantly rescued by obvious cliches. The few relatively minor characters that have died the past couple of seasons were extremely predictable. I still enjoy the show but it definitely have become predictable.

IN RESPONSE TO: Everything is Sexist (Music Video)

The air conditioning thing is just bizarre. If you're routinely cold, wear a sweater. It is easy to add layers but on the other end you can only take off so many layers. Would women rather have a bunch of sweaty stinky guys running around the office? Or worse, a bunch of guys walking around in their underwear to keep cool?

    IN RESPONSE TO: Wednesday Politics

It's kind of depressing how some people think that wanting financially stable immigrants is a "radical" idea. When are our politicians going to remember that they are supposed to be serving the interests of U.S. citizens, not the citizens of everywhere else.

IN RESPONSE TO: North Korea may have just shown a capability to strike the continental US

All of the Social Justice Warriors in California will be upset if they get nuked. Doesn't North Korea know that nuking people is macro-aggressive? It is a clear violation of their safe spaces and progressive agenda. Protest signs with large red font should solve this problem quickly enough.

This is good! After all, he's lived a conflict-free life. He's never been accused of pulling a weapon on anyone. He is an outstanding citizen and a man of God! He's certainly not a narcissist.

IN RESPONSE TO: Ottawa cyclist struck by car

I see bikes ignoring traffic rules all the time. They run red lights, they ride against traffic, they dart across lanes at random with no warning. They all seem to be competing for a Darwin Award.

    IN RESPONSE TO: Random Finds

Now that you hit your target of 200 subscribers you need a new target. I suggest 1 million. Upload lots of cat videos, videos of women with large breasts and videos of you playing popular games but very poorly and with nonstop cursing. You'll be there in no time.

Cats are active at night. My Grandma's cats are so lazy you'd think they were stuffed animals. But between 2-4am they chase each other and do all kinds of things.

It's funny looking at different media sources. Fox's website basically says ho hum nothing happened at the hearing at all. CNN's website makes it seem like Trump committed 500 felonies and he'll be hauled away any moment now.

You don't have to actively be watching CNN or looking at a specific twitter feed to come across stuff you don't want to see. Things start one place and spread everywhere. As much as I love the internet, it really does bring to light the worst of humanity.

If I encounter a video where someone begs for subscriptions I usually won't watch them again. If you have good content, people will subscribe. If you have bad content, they won't. I don't like people who think they can change my mind by "reminding" me to click a button.

IN RESPONSE TO: Dbag California Hippies

There's a typo in the headline. It should read:

"California Legislature votes to raise gas taxes, vehicle fees by $5.2 billion a year to have more money to steal from road repairs and transit"

The over/under on how much of the money is spent on road repair is currently set at $0. I'm still betting the under.

    "help me out
    i don't understand"

Gross incompetence. Every single Republican who claimed to want to repeal and replace Obamacare should be thoroughly embarrassed right now. I bet many of them just used the issue as a means of getting elected and didn't really care one way or another.

IN RESPONSE TO: UK Terror Attack

The unlucky part wasn't directed at you but at officials around the world that like to imply that with their words and actions.

I don't recall anywhere in my post asking for unreasonable steps to be taken. The steps taken at airports are silly and tests prove that airport security is still a joke. People in power need to make smart decisions, not be complete weenies and lay down to everything that comes their way.

And no, I don't live my life in fear of being blown up or run over by terrorists. But again, terrorists are a very specific problem that can be addressed unlike random events like car accidents where anyone can be distracted for even a moment. It is inexcusable for problems that can be solved (or at least severely curtailed) to be ignored.

It's serious if even one person dies. But if numbers are small then their lives don't matter. Your math, not mine. I guess they are not worth the "effort".

IN RESPONSE TO: UK Terror Attack

Most acts of gun violence are specific. They aren't mowing down random people. It's terrible for those specific targets, but most people can go about their lives knowing they aren't going to be a target of gun violence.

When it comes to mass shootings (and often times semi-random), these are carried out by very mentally ill individuals. I also feel these people represent a major security concern as these can and do target everyone who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Most of the time there are giant warning flags that are completely ignored. I feel this is as serious a problem as potential lone-wolf terrorist threats.

But these lone-wolf terrorists are very much also a legitimate security concern. Doing the math and just telling the family's of the dead "Oh well your loved one was just unlucky" isn't good enough. Just like the mentally ill mass shootings, there are plenty of warnings signs that we can act on and changes to protocols that we can enact that can save lives. Lives are worth saving, math or not.
